To answer your question, the AAM Model (Agile Autopoietic Model) does not specifically stipulate to go boss-less. In fact, planetary hierarchies like the one we utilize within our company still have a pecking order but we are raising leaders instead of managers. Exceptional leaders become facilitators and these are the people who help others in separate departments.
